Superintendent: The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all the activities of a construction site according to project blueprints. Duties include coordinating subcontractors, performing quality control and safety checks, and providing on-site direction on the construction sites.
Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for all activities on site; building from foundation to roof in accordance with the construction plans.
- Coordinate daily with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Plan and coordinate with Project Manager all daily activities according to the work schedule.
- Prepare daily reports (including daily photos of work in progress).
- Plan and monitor all work activities according to the work schedule and provide 2 weeks look ahead schedule.
- Comply with and maintain all project safety standards, in accordance with the work safety plan.
- Coordinate jobsite mobilization and demobilization.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Review drawings and project specification.
- Submit RFI for review.
- Operate lull/excavator/bobcat/man lift.
Experience and Skills:
- 5+ years experience in Shell Construction.
- Track record of extensive analysis in current material packages (concrete, CMU, lumber, rebar).
- Working knowledge of Viewpoint Pro-Contractor and/or Plan swift.
- Proven understanding of engineering, procurement, construction terminology, concepts, and relationships.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid driver’s license.
- OSHA 30 hours.
- Forklift certification.
